The concept for this film was first sparked over a dinner conversation about a man- a remarkable man - who had moved to Uganda to start an orphanage, seemingly on a whim. Of course, there had to be more to the story that that! And so it began....the seed for this film was firmly planted in these documentarians' minds. It has now sprouted into a concrete project with the support of our Executive Producers, Doug and Patricia Pierson, and the guidance of the remarkable man himself, Robert. We traveled to Uganda and discovered a story of hope, selflessness and innovation. The children touched our hearts and Robert inspired us in so many ways. This was more than just telling a story for us, it truly changed our perspective of the world. Robert, the Aunties and the children are a great example of what the human spirit is capable of. We consider them family now and will continue to be involved in all of their lives.
